Sally Vaughan
Pop-up Kitchen and Chirpy Choppers Coordinator
I joined BFM as a volunteer and started helping out at the Nosh and Natter events, helping the chefs prepare and serve the delicious meals.
That was a really nice way to find out more about what this organisation does and before long I realised that their vision aligned very much with my own beliefs and experience about how health, community and education are so closely linked, particularly regarding the food we produce and consume.
I have been a teacher, a healthcare worker and community projects manager so when the opportunity arose to take forward a new project with BFM I was delighted to take it on.
Over the coming months I will be facilitating a series cooking sessions, Easy-Peasy Cooking Time.
