Before moving to Dorset, I worked as a primary school headteacher in Buckinghamshire, and many local families will know me from Hooke Court Nursery School or Watercleaves. Now retired, I remain passionate about children's happiness and wellbeing, fostering their confidence, curiosity and creativity through hands-on activities like growing and cooking food together.

Through volunteering with local smallholders, the weekly surplus Food Stall and Bridport's Food Festival, I've been lucky to connect with amazing local producers and chefs. I've joined Bridport Food Matters because I believe everyone in our community deserves affordable, healthy, nutritious food.
