Neil Hammond
Treasurer
Growing up in a maritime family in Cleethorpes, Neil spent his summers making hay on a family farm in Iceland — an upbringing that gave him a lasting connection to land and food. He went on to study computing for real-time systems, building a career in engineering and IT at De Montfort University and the Met Office in Exeter. Alongside this, he spent several years working on a small organic farm owned by the Ecological Land Co-operative. He moved to Bridport to get involved in Bridport Cohousing and now lives at Hazelmead. He is excited to bring his varied experience and lifelong passion for sustainable living to the BFM Board.
