Lucy studied Biology at Aberdeen University before moving to London to train and work as a nurse and midwife. She relocated to Bridport with her family 26 years ago, continuing to work as a nurse before moving into fundraising with the RSPB. She has also been involved in Bridport Cohousing for many years, reflecting her long-standing commitment to community-led living. She brings to the Treasurer role a blend of organisational experience, a love of cooking and community events, and the clear, people-centred communication skills developed across a career in healthcare and fundraising. She is delighted to be supporting BFM, an organisation she sees as vital to building a resilient, connected and healthy community in Bridport.
