Cooking sessions at the Not So Youth Club
Third Wednesday of every month.
We’re delighted to share a new partnership. BFM is working with Lesley Windsor at Bridport Youth and Community Centre (BYCC) to bring cooking sessions to the Not So Youth Club, a monthly social session for anyone over 50.
The club meets on the third Wednesday of every month, 11am–2pm, at BYCC, and each session includes cooking together. The Friendly Food Club led the first sessions over the summer. And now in November, BFM has taken over the cooking: Sally Vaughan, who led our popular Easy-Peasy Cooking Time, takes turns with Eileen Gray of The Ripple Workshop. They’ll deliver seven sessions in all, running through to April 2027.
Each session is a chance to try new recipes, build kitchen confidence and, best of all, sit down to share a meal with good company.
We’re really pleased to be working alongside Lesley and the team at BYCC. If you’re over 50, or know someone who might enjoy it, do come along!
Upcoming dates: 18th November, 16th December 2026
