Bridport Food Matters Joins Dorset COP 2026

Dorset COP 2026

Saturday, 14 November
Kingston Maurward Campus, Dorchester

Bridport Food Matters is delighted to be partnering with Feeding Dorset Partnership, Help & Kindness and Dorset Community Action Network (DCAN) at Dorset COP 2026.

Taking place on Saturday 14 November at Kingston Maurward Campus in Dorchester, Dorset COP brings together community organisations, local groups and residents from across the county to explore practical action for climate, nature and community wellbeing. The theme for this year's event is How to Impact Climate and Nature.

Throughout the day, Bridport Food Matters will be sharing examples of our work and helping to facilitate conversations about the role that food can play in building stronger, healthier and more resilient communities.

Together with our partners, we'll be inviting people to explore questions around local food systems, community action, food access, skills and collaboration. The workshop will focus on listening, sharing experiences and building connections between the many projects and initiatives already making a difference across Dorset.

Food touches almost every aspect of our lives. It connects health, climate, nature, community resilience and local economies. By bringing people together from across Dorset, we hope to discover what is already working, identify opportunities for collaboration and explore how communities can support positive change.

Whether you're already involved in community action, interested in local food, passionate about climate and nature, or simply curious to learn more, we'd love to see you there.
