An information hub on Millennium Green about Bridport’s many food-related initiatives, and a place to talk about access to healthy food, food security, the local economy and climate change. We can share ideas about what is already going on and what more we can do about it as a community, and join in a discussion with:

  • Philip Colfox, owner of Symondsbury Estate,  about their plans for regenerative farming, woodland management and the market garden, as well as discuss how to “wind the clock right back” in terms of production. (12.30 pm)
  • Katkin and Ipar of Vital Roots kitchen garden in Netherbury to share knowledge about produce gluts through making fermented food, plus food for free through foraging. (1.30 pm)
  • Nick and Chris from Chideock Champignons about the wonders of fungi and the role their product plays in breaking down organic materials into soil and negating our carbon footprint. (2.30 pm)
